Our brains love a problem to solve!
The main objection I hear from business owners is “I can’t afford it”. ❌
And I totally don’t want anyone spending money they don’t have yet….they spend lots of money on all the other things that don’t actually get the results they want.
Our brains tell us that we’re making a smart choice by going for the revenue and more customers/clients.
But…if we don’t know our numbers…we may increase revenue without actually taking home more?
See how that can happen? If your costs are out of control OR you don’t really know what they are, you can increase revenue but not your bottom line.
You may have more customers and more team and all that but you don’t actually pay yourself more.
But if we just were super clear on:
1️⃣ What we want our business to look like.
2️⃣ How to organize it effectively and efficiently to get there.
3️⃣ Implement the process and stick with it.
We probably wouldn’t have to spend as much on all the other things!
Think about the saying, “A stitch in time saves nine.”
Basically, if we do it right and build a solid foundation. We’ll save ourselves a lot of time and trouble later on.
If you’re spending money on all the other things- that’s fine- just make sure it’s getting you the exact result you want.
This is when working 1:1 can help you so much. You may not end up needing all the other *stuff* because you know where you’re going and how to get there.
Later on, we may stack some things, but it’s from a place of intentional and sustainable growth. Not throwing some money at the next tactic.
